EPC Opens Returns Facility in Atlanta

March 7, 2019

CSI’s wholly-owned remarketing and recycling subsidiary, EPC, recently opened a new facility in Atlanta. The 65,000 square foot facility is EPC’s largest outside of the St. Louis metropolitan area. Stephen Ropers has been named facility manager and EPC expects to employ approximately 40 people within a year.

The new facility offers all of EPC’s standard equipment disposition services, including asset tracking, secure data destruction, equipment testing and processing, e-waste recycling collection, order fulfillment, imaging and shipping. EPC will also base one of its Data Destruction and Recycling Vehicles, along with a field service team trained and equipped to provide onsite services to organizations throughout the Southeast.

All equipment destruction and end-of-life recycling will continue to take place at EPC’s Electronics Recycling Center located just outside of St. Louis.
“More companies are seeing the value of professional IT asset disposition services like ours,” said EPC president and founder Dan Fuller. “The reality is that most businesses don’t want to pay to have antiquated equipment shipped very far. Therefore, it makes good business sense to continue to expand our geographic footprint in the United States and globally.”

With the addition of the Atlanta facility, EPC and CSI now have 14 equipment processing facilities located throughout the world.
